About ISA Registration
These pages are designed to give you an overview of what ISA registration is about.
However, on 15th June 2010 the Government announced that the launch of ISA registration planned for 26th July 2010 was being put on hold pending a review of the scheme.
As of 29th June there has been no announcement of the scope of the review, but the legislation requiring that as of 1st November 2010 people newly appointed to roles undertaking regulated activity are ISA registered is still in place and the CRB are going ahead with the introduction of a new Disclosure Application Form that incorporates the ability to request ISA registartion from 26th July 2010.
From this we suspect that the review will focus on who must legally register with the ISA, rather than significantly changing the application process.
