ISA Registration Scheme Scrapped
As a result Vetting & Barring Scheme Remodelling Review & Criminal Records Review report released on 11th February 2011 the ISA Registration Scheme will not be rolled out in England, Wales & N. Ireland.
Organisations with personnel undertaking Regulated Activity with children and/or vulnerable adults should continue to use Enhanced Disclosures. Where the role is not classified as Regulated Activity, a Basic Disclosure may be sought.
If the role is exempted from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974) for reasons other than undertaking Regulated Activity with children and/or vulnerable adults, a Standard Disclosure may be sought.
