Christmas Opening Times for 2018 at DDC

Happy New Year
The DDC offices will be closing on the afternoon of Friday 21st December 2018 and will re-open on Wednesday 2nd January 2019.
We will collect mail from the Local Delivery Office intermittently over this period so that it is securely stored within our offices. However, application packs will not be processed and ID documents not returned until we re-open in January 2019. Completed online applications will be submitted over this period, subject to the Disclosure and Barring Service closing times. If you have an urgent matter which cannot wait until the office is reopened, please send an email labelled ‘urgent’ in the subject line and we will do our best to pick this up.
Royal Mail have also informed us that they expect a seasonal increase in the volume of packages being sent, which could lead to delays with the service. For more options on upgrading the postal return of ID documents please see our DDC postage page.
Every December we do a number of things to help raise money for our local chosen charity LOROS. We will not be sending Christmas cards and choose to donate to LOROS instead. All staff also participate in Christmas jumper day with all donations going to this charity.
