Job roles and the workforce

The DBS are now asking for extra information about the environment in which an applicant is working whilst applying for an Enhanced/Standard Disclosure. DDC may contact you to clarify your applicants responsibilities in respect of whether they are either; working with/near children, and/or working with/near vulnerable adults, or neither.

Job Roles and the Workforce

  1. There are 4 scenarios and they relate to where or what the applicant is doing in their work.
    1. ‘Child Workforce’. Used for any position that involves working/volunteering with children.
    2. ‘Adult Workforce’. Used  for any position that involves working/volunteering with adults.
    3. ‘Child and Adult Workforce’. Used for any position that involves working/volunteering with children and adults.
    4. ‘Other Workforce’. Used for any position that does not involve working/volunteering with Children or Adults e.g. security guard.
  2. The workforce will be shown on the Disclosure, in addition to the job role.
  3. The changes required by the DBS are being handled our end.
