System issue 04/10/2018 – resolved

ADVISORY NOTE: Some clients have confirmed that they are still seeing the failover page when trying to login. To resolve this please press Control and F5. This will reload the page from the DDC servers to restore the normal log-in page.
3pm – The system is now fully restored and back up and operational. We apologise for any inconvenience this has caused and thank you for your patience. If you have any concerns or are unsure if your last operation was logged on the system please feel free to contact one of the team who will be happy to help.
1pm – The issue has now been resolved and we are rebuilding part of the database from back-ups. It is estimated that this should be resolved shortly, when all areas of the site will be fully functional. Subject to testing we hope to have the system operational by 3.30pm
11am – The issue has now been identified and is currently being resolved by the datacentre technical team together with the DDC IT Team. The issue was due to a corruption of a particular database table within the system, recording parts of the application process. We hope to have the system back up and running shortly.
10am – The online system is currently unavailable due to a technical issue with the datacentre. They are actively working to restore the system and hope to return to a normal service as soon as possible. This includes the support systems that are accessed by the DDC Customer Service Team, and the web application used by client users and applicants. Our sincerest apologies for any inconvenience caused. This has also prevented us from responding to a majority of email and phone correspondence. We will aim to respond to any incoming messages as soon as possible, once the system has been fully restored.
