DDC fees
Our standard administration charge for our paper-form based service is £16.00 + VAT per application
The standard charge for our on-line (paper-less) service is £10.00 + VAT per application
ISAAF checks (POVAFirst as was) are an additional £4.00 + VAT where requested (regulated care homes only).
There is no charge to register with us, but cash account clients will be asked to pay for their first application when registering.

Disclosure fees
In addition to the DDC administration charge, the CRB charges for paid positions are £26.00 for Standard Disclosures or £44.00 for Enhanced Disclosures with a further £6.00 for ISAAF checks (POVAFirst as was) if requested. There is no VAT on the CRB charge and they make no charge for volunteers, which they define as :-
A person who spends time, unpaid (except for travelling and other approved out-of-pocket expenses), doing something which aims to benefit someone (individuals or groups) other than or in addition to close relatives.
(note: Remunerated positions within a volunteering organisation are considered by the CRB to be non-voluntary).
Whilst the CRB issues Standard & Enhanced Disclosures for employment decisions made in England & Wales, under devolution Disclosures for roles in Scotland are issued by Disclosure Scotland who charge £25.00 (no VAT) for any level of Disclosure.
All Basic Disclosures, including those for roles in England & Wales, are currently issued by Disclosure Scotland at the £25 rate.

PVG Scheme Fees in Scotland
From 28th February 2011 roles in Scotland that give access to children and/or vulnerable adults are no longer eligible for an Enhanced Disclosure from Disclosure Scotland. For roles undertaking "Regulated Work" in Scotland the jobholder should be a member of the PVG Scheme which costs £59 to join. If the role does not meet the criteria for Regulated Work it is only eligible for a Basic Disclosure (see above).
Organisations offering a role to an existing PVG Scheme member who has a PVG Scheme Record should request a PVG Scheme Update for which Disclosure Scotland charge £18.
If the individual does not have a PVG Scheme Record or the PVG Scheme update shows that information has been added to the Record since it was issued, a new PVG Scheme Record shoud be applied for at £59*.
* If the application for a PVG Scheme Record is received by Disclosure Scotland within 30 days of a PVG Scheme Update being issued, Disclosure Scotland will refund the £18 paid for the Update.
Currently PVG applications have to be submitted on a paper form, so DDC's fee of £16.00 + VAT for the paper process applies to each application.
