Due Diligence Checking Ltd (DDC) is a dedicated pre-employment screening provider registered with the Disclosure and Barring Service, Disclosure Scotland and Access Northern Ireland. The company has been operating as a DBS Umbrella Body since 2002 and supports  over 12,000 registered clients annually.

We pride ourselves on supporting all types of organisations from small local charities to large national organisations from all sectors including Government, finance and insurance, health and social care and education. There are no minimum volume requirements, hidden charges or set-up fees.

We process over 150,000 criminal record and pre-employment check applications each year. DDC’s business and pre-employment application processes have been accredited to ISO 9001 for our Quality Management System and ISO 27001 for our Information Security Management System.

A bit of our history

Back in 2002, we noticed that businesses and schools were struggling to navigate the complex process of obtaining criminal record checks. Determined to make things simpler, we established Due Diligence Checking Ltd (DDC) to service this need and deliver quality to local organisations.

Over the years, we’ve grown alongside our clients, expanding our services to meet their evolving needs. In 2009, we were among the first to embrace the DBS’s e-bulk system, streamlining the application process and speeding up results.

Today, we’re proud to support over 12,000 clients across various sectors, from small local charities to large national organisations in government, finance, health, social care, and education. Each year, we handle more than 150,000 pre-employment applications, all while maintaining our commitment to quality and security through ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 certifications.
