Working For DDC

Due Diligence Checking Ltd operate as a market leader in the processing of online criminal record checks and pre-employment screening, completing over 150,000 checks each year. This accounts for approximately 2.25% of the current market.

Many of the existing clients have a regulatory requirement for criminal record checks and pre-employment checks, to ensure safeguarding needs are met within their industry. Our pre-employment services can be offered to any organisation recruiting people in the UK. This is a growing market within the UK and we are seeing a lot of positive growth within those services. 

Our Ambition

As a service provider, we are always looking at new services and ways to improve what we currently offer. This is done throughout the business from the technical aspects of the web application to an improved customer service function. From a technical perspective, our systems are in a constant state of review to find more secure and more reliable ways of doing things. This includes user experience reviews from all areas of the business.  All team members are encouraged to provide feedback on their role within the business, and we also ask our clients and applicants what they think. We have many working groups within the business that focus on things like quality, consistency, security and user experience. All team members are regularly invited to apply to join these working groups and provide valuable feedback to managers, to drive improvements. 

New Team Members

All new team members go through an induction process to ensure that you know what we are striving to achieve, and how we want to achieve it. This involves core learning on the different services we offer, and what excellence looks like within our industry, and within your role. We want every member to feel supported to achieve their maximum potential. Every year you will sit with one of the company Directors and review everything about your role, and how you can progress, and how the company can help you to achieve your personal goals. 

We also screen new team members to BS7858 standards due to the work that we do. Shortly after accepting on offer we will send you log-in details so your first experience is to go through the online system as an applicant.  It’s a great introduction to the work that we do and gives you the chance to see the quality of the service we offer. 

Business Culture

We strive to create a positive environment for all team members within the business. In reality this means we’re quite a social group with regular company events such as Charity Bake-offs, Christmas Jumper days, meals out and a regular Friday morning business breakfast/lunch (we even have a dice to roll when we really can’t decide what to have).
