December 6th, 2021 by Jake Waddingham

Due Diligence Checking Ltd. are delighted to have been selected as winners for the Business Improvement through Technology category at the East Midlands Chamber Business Awards. The entire team are thrilled to have been recognised for all their hard work to continuously improve the systems and processes to deliver services to clients and applicants

The ‘Business Improvement through Technology’ award recognises organisations that have integrated technology into the way they work, to help them grow their business. Entrants for this award must demonstrate how they have used the power of technology to work more effectively and increase their ability to meet the needs of their customers.

Director Matt TuckeY Collecting the Award

The award was presented to DDC Director Matt Tuckey by Rob Ricketts from De Montfort University, Leicester – Enterprise & Business Services, who were part of the judging panel for the award.

The judges, as part of the assessment highlighted:

“Technology is clearly at the heart of the DNA of your business and that you demonstrated a culture of continual improvement through ongoing testing and feedback loops to adapt and improve the product to the benefit of your customers.”

We would like to take the opportunity to thank the East Midlands Chamber for hosting an incredible event and the judging panel for recognising the importance of our customers’ involvement in providing valuable feedback throughout the development lifecycle.

At DDC we pride ourselves on our ability to reduce barriers to safer recruitment, and allow pre-employment checks to be completed, quickly, compliantly and in line with client requirements. To be recognised through the East Midlands Chamber Business Awards, highlights the hard work and dedication of the whole team over the last 12 months.

What’s next for DDC?

We are passionate about technology driving our business forward and empowering the team to do more for our clients. We are currently working with the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) and the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) on a new Digital Identity policy. This change will look to transform the pre-employment screening industry by removing the need to physically verify identity documents. Existing clients will already see some of the work being done behind the scenes to truly deliver on our aim of making pre-employment screening accessible to any organisation, throughout the UK.
