Payment terms
DDC offers a range of payment terms :-
| Payment Type | Terms |
|---|---|
| Credit Account |
We will invoice at the end of the month for the Disclosure Application Packs sent to applicants during the month. The invoice amount will include any CRB/SCRO fee, but this will be credited in full if the application is withdrawn by the client before the application is submitted to the CRB/SCRO. Clients can see from their Client Area what the status of the application is at any time. We would ask that clients only opt for a cedit account if they intent to submit 5 applications or more. |
| Cash Account |
Client sends a cheque at the time of submitting the applicant details. DDC will send the pack out immediately but will not process any completed forms until the application has been paid for. For multiple applications we will ask for the names of the applicants to whom the payment relates. We will issue a VAT receipt of all payments received naming the applicant(s) to who it relates if required. Again if the application is withdrawn before we incur any CRB/SCRO fee we will refund any CRB/SCRO fee paid by the client in full. |
| Self-pay |
Where the client specifies that the applicant pays for the check, the covering letter in the Disclosure Application Pack will ask them to enclose a cheque for the relevant amount when returning their form. A VAT receipt will be enclosed when the applicant's documents are returned. |
| Group Invoice |
For clients who wish us to invoice for applications submitted by multiple Requesters and/or across multiple sites on one single invoice we can do so. The invoice will be supported by an electronic breakdown of all applications (by name) grouped by up to 3 identifiers e.g. operating company, location and department or cost-centre etc. The breakdown (and therefore the invoice) is generated directly from our operations database and can deal with credits for withdrawn applications, reinstatments of previously withdrawn applications (CRB/SCRO credit reversed), a mixture of voluntary & paid roles and applications to different bureaux (CRB or SCRO). |
All invoices can include a client-specified identifier such as employee number or branch number if required, provided this is specified at the time of submitting the applicant details.
