URC arrangements with DDC
The United Reformed Church (URC) will cover the administration and processing costs for all DBS checks for churches, synods, ministers and assembly accredited lay preachers through a long-term contract arrangement with DDC Ltd.
Volunteer roles
All applications for volunteer roles are free.
Paid roles
If the applicant is a ministerial candidate or minister in training, then the URC will pay the DBS fee of £41 including the DDC processing costs.
For others the cost (£41) must be paid at the time of application (and clawed back through expenses).
