Once your account is activated and your policies are in place, you can start initiating the checks on your applicants with our online system. All the necessary support documents are available in our online Client Area, and there is automatic validation of the data entered by the applicant, to minimise formatting errors.
For oversight, our online Client Area is designed to enable a single person to carry out all the required management actions such as requesting, monitoring,, verifying documentation, updating information and receiving notification of content relating to DBS checks. If you would prefer to use the paper-based forms, we still offer this service. As DDC was launched before electronic submissions were even available, we have many years experience working with the paper process and we are confident we can get your applicants processed as fast as possible.
When paper applications are received by DDC we transfer the data to our electronic system for efficient submission tot he DBS. This was you receive all the benefits of the electronic process.
