Christmas opening times at DDC for 2021

The DDC offices will be closing early on Friday 24th December 2021 and will be operating a reduced service between Christmas and New Year, as follows:

We will collect mail from the Local Delivery Office and process applications normally over this period. Completed online applications will be processed, subject to the Disclosure and Barring Service closing times. Emails and calls will be answered during these hours. There may be a slight delay in responding to your enquiry at busier times. If an agent is not available to take a call, the caller will be diverted to a voicemail system to leave a message.
Royal Mail have informed us that they expect a seasonal increase in the volume of packages being sent, which could lead to delays with the service. For more options on upgrading the postal return of ID documents please see our DDC postage page.
Every December the team carry out a number of Christmas activities to help raise money for our chosen charity LOROS. Instead of Christmas cards, the company and staff members choose to make a donation to the equivalent value of what they would normally spend on Christmas cards.
