DDC lead the way with exceptional customer service

As part of our dedication to customer service, we offer all clients and applicants the opportunity to complete a short online survey about the service they experienced.

Recent feedback delivered a superb 97% approval rating with 99% of clients saying they would openly recommend our services. Feedback is regularly reviewed by a dedicated team, and positive results celebrated throughout the organisation. We pride ourselves on this determination to continually improve the services on offer. As part of this confidence in the service on offer we have also been put forward for an external award. 

Recognising success

As recognition of the exceptional customer service delivered and the hard work of the Customer Service Team, we are delighted to announce that the team have been nominated as FINALISTS for the EMC Customer Service Excellence award. This is a credit to the consistent and professional approach the team champion on a daily basis. We are proud of the team for reaching this level and want to wish all other finalists good luck on the results night. The winner will be announced towards the end of this year.

Online DBS checks during Covid-19

The team have worked hard to support all clients throughout the pandemic, with additional resources being applied to ensure checks continue to be returned accurately and efficiently. This hard work is reflected in the specific customer service team feedback with a 98% positive rating for speed of response and 97% positive rating for quality of response. We have focused on resolving the challenges faced by clients with the move towards remote working and changing guidelines issued by the DBS and Disclosure Scotland. 

Reference checks response rates 

As more and more organisations have seen staff numbers falling and an increase in remote working we have applied extra effort to track and expedite the return of reference requests. This includes chasing organisations that have stopped trading, temporarily closed their office locations and universities placing a hold on requests for degree verification. The team have been running additional calls and tracking details to ensure results are returned as soon as possible.
